You can make the difference between integration, and isolation, by hosting kids from the age of 15 to join your family on certain days of the week. No minimum set time requirement, or structured regularity - invite them to events, outings, holidays, or family activities, so they feel they have a family nearby. So when they leave the center, at 18, they will know they aren't completely on their own, once again, but there is someone a phone call away to answer questions they may have about the steps forward in their journey to learning to fly on their own.
"Apprenticeship is a work contract divided between the company and the training center. It allows the apprentice to earn a diploma, gain real professional skills, and acquire recognized work experience while receiving a salary. Anyone between the ages of 15 and 29 can sign an apprenticeship contract, and as a work contract, apprenticeship requires the young person to have a company that employs them.
The duration of a contract corresponds to the length of the training needed to obtain the diploma, usually for over a year and even up to three years. The candidate may also request a reduction or extension of the "standard" duration based on their skill level before entering the training.
It is also possible to exceptionally extend the initial contract duration, particularly in the case of failure at the exam or prolonged absence from the training center due to illness.
The apprentice receives a salary that increases based on age and time spent in the apprenticeship. It is calculated as a percentage of the minimum wage (SMIC), or the salary set by the collective agreement, if it is more favorable."
